Earth's water, whether found on continents or in oceans including the fresh water in ice, lakes, rivers and underground.

Hydrosphere

A storage area for fresh water.

Reservoir

An underground layer of rock or soil filled with water.

Aquifer

The layers of gases that surround Earth.

Atmosphere

The force put on a given area by the weight of the air above it.

Air Pressure

A nearly melted layer of hot rock below Earth's crust.

Mantle

The solid, rocky surface of the earth which contain the continents and ocean floor.

Crust

The crust and the rigid part of Earth's mantle together.

Lithosphere

Part of the Earth's core that is solid, extremely dense and under high pressure.

Inner Core

Part of the Earth's core that is molten or fluid.
