HOLINESS the fullness of Christian life and love. All people are called to holiness which is made possible by cooperating with God's grace to do his will. And as we do God's will, we are transformed more into the image of Jesus.
VOCATION the call each of us has in life to be the person God wants each to be and the way we each serve the Church and the Kingdom of God. Each of us can live out his vocation as a lay person, or as a member of the clergy.
VOW A deliberate and free promise made to God by people who want especially to dedicate their lives to God. The vows give witness now to the Kingdom that is to come.
RELIGIOUS LIFE A state of life recognized by the church and the religious life men and women freely respond to a call to follow Jesus by living the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience and community with others.
God's special calls the married life, the single life, the religious life, and the priesthood
Jesus is Holy He is perfect in His love for his father and for all people. To be holy is to be like Jesus. It is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is to be a saint.
Sacrament of Initiation the Sacrament that is the foundation of our Christian life. We are born anew in baptism, strengthened by Confirmation and receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life. By means of these Sacraments, we receive an increasing measure of divine life and advance toward the perfection of charity.
Sacraments of the Service of Communion the sacraments of holy order and matrimony, they contribute to the personal salvation of individuals by giving them a way to serve others.
Sacrament of Healing The sacrament of reconciliation, and annointing of the sick by which the church continues the healing, ministry of Jesus for soul and body.
