Energy Pyramid | diagram that shows the amount of energy that flows through each level of a food chain. |
How does an energy pyramid show the flow of energy in a food chain or food web? | It shows the producers with the greatest amount of energy in an ecosystem. The pyramid narrows for each move up (to herbivores then to carnivores)because the higher the level, the less available energy. Most of the energy is used up to do life activities. |
