Scrotum

The sack that the testicles are in. (male)

Testicle

a male genital gland that contains specialized cells that produce hormones and sperm. Is located in the scrotum. (male)

Epididymis

structure in the male reproductive system in which sperm fully mature and are stored. (male)

Prostate gland

exocrine gland, in men, at the base of the urinary bladder that secretes the fluid part (nutrients) of semen into the urethra during ejaculation. (male)

Seminal vesicle

a gland in males that secretes a fluid component of semen that lubricates and nourishes sperm. Near the bladder (male)

Vas deferens

a duct that carries sperm from the epididymis to the ejaculatory duct (male)

Urethra

A tube that carries urine or semen from the bladder and releases it from the body (male)

Ejaculatory duct

A duct formed by the union of the vas deferens with the duct of the seminal vesicle; the fluid is carried into the urethra (male)

Fallopian tube

either of a pair of tubes conducting the egg from the ovary to the uterus (female)

Ovary

female reproductive organ that holds and produces egg cells and hormones (female)

Myometrium

the smooth muscle forming the wall of the uterus (female)

Cervix

Neck like opening to the uterus; usually blocked with mucus (female)

Vagina

Low iron in blood due to loss of red blood cells during menstruation (female)

Dysmenorrhea

Pain in the lower back or abdomen sometimes with nausea (female)

Premenstrual Tension Syndrome

Symptoms occur several days before menstruation and include bloating (swelling), headache, temporary weight gain, irritability, trouble concentrating, and low energy; due to changing hormones (female)
