organism

A living thing.

habitat

the type of environment in which an organism or group normally lives or occurs

biotic factor

a living or once living part of an organism's habitat

abiotic factor

a nonliving part of an organism's habitat

species

a group of organisms so similar to one another that they can breed and produce fertile offspring

population

all the members of one species in a particular area

community

all the different populations that live together in an area

ecosystem

a system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their physical environment

ecology

The study of how living things interact with each other and their environment
