Romulus: Twin brother of Remus, who were raised by a wolf. Romulus kills Remus in fury and names Rome after himself.

Sulla: Rival of Marius who makes his own army and makes himself dictator. Weakens the Concil of the Plebs and strengthened the Senate

Tarquins: Powerful family in Rome. Eventually overthrown

Tiberius: Ruled after Augustus

Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus: Worked for government reform. Thought that many of Rome's problems were caused by loss of small farms and asked the Senate to take back public land.

Triumvirate: Political alliance of 3 people.

Veto: To reject the other consuls decision. I forbid in Latin.
