Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus Worked for government reform. Thought that many of Rome's problems were caused by loss of small farms and asked the Senate to take back public land.
Marius Military leader who becomes a consul. Recruits soldiers and gives them money and land.
Sulla Rival of Marius who makes his own army and makes himself dictator. Weakens the Concil of the Plebs and strengthened the Senate

Praetorian Guard 9000 men in charge of protecting the emperor
Proconsul Governor for each province
Augustus AKA Octavian, JC's grandnephew
Tiberius Ruled after Augustus
Caligula, Claudius, Nero Next 3 rulers after Tiberius
Caligula Had a mental illness which caused him to murder, steal, and put his favorite horse as the consul.
Nero Had his mother and 2 wives killed. Fiddled while rome burned.
