neap tides The tides are not as high and low, because the moon, earth, and sun form a right angle, and the gravity isn't as significant.
spring tides When the sun, moon, and earth are in a straight line the gravity pulls stronger and we have higher and lower tides than usual.
tidal bulge The graviataional pull of the moon makes ocean water bulge toward the moon on the side of the earth facing to the moon.
new moon A new moon is the first phase of the moon cycle where you can barely see the moon or only a tiny part of it.
full moon When the entire lit side of the moon is facing earth.
waxing crescent You can only see a sliver of the moon's lighted side and every night you can see more of it.
waxing half when you can see half of the moon's lighted side and you can see more each night.
waxing gibbous where almost all of the moon is lit up but a little of the left isn't.
waning half when you can see half of the moon and the visible part is decreasing each night.
waning crescent when less than half of the moon is visible and you can see less every night.
waning gibbous when most of the Moon is visible, and we see less and less each night.
waxing half where you can see half of the moon and the visible part is increasing each night
