fist stage of labor

2nd stage of labor
birth. the body feels the urge to push baby out.
Baby's head will appear as baby crowning.
3rd stage of labor
occurs 5 mins-hour after baby is born. Placenta and membranes are pushed out. Contractions are milder.
Nourishment for baby weeks 20-28
by the end of 37 weeks, baby considered full term. baby's organs are ready to function on their own.
