Conjugate Acid Molecule or ion formed when a base accepts a proton.
Conjugate Base Molecule or ion formed when an acid donates a proton.
Neutralization Reaction An acid based reaction.
Equivalence Point A point in a neutralization reaction at which all of the acid has reacted with all of the base.
Titration A process of determining the molarity of an acid or base solution by using a neutralization reaction.
Indicator A substance that is one color in an acid and another color in a base.
Standard Solution The solution of known concentration in a titration
End Point Point in a titration when the indicator shows that the equivalence point has been reached.
PH A way of describing the H1+ concentration of a solution.
Acidic Having a pH below 7.
