| middle sacral artery | only viewed from posterior; originating at end of spinal cord |
| common iliac artery | terminal end of the abdominal aorta that supplies the lower abdomen, pelvis and legs |
| internal iliac artery | the inner branch of the common iliac artery on either side of the body |
| external iliac artery | the outer branch of the common iliac artery; becomes femoral |
| femoral artery | major artery of the thigh. |
| popliteal artery | artery found at the back of the knee |
| posterior tibial artery | found of posterior aspect of lower leg, gives rise to plantar arteries; interior of leg |
| peroneal artery/ fibular | branch of the posterior tibial artery that supplies the lateral leg |
| lateral plantar artery | branch to outter portion of foot from posterior tibial art.; larger of plantar arteries |
| medial plantar artery | interior portion of foot, branches from posterior tibial; smaller of the plantar arteries |
| anterior tibial artery | artery turns into the dorsalis pedis; on exterior portion of lower leg |
| dorsalis pedis artery | top of the foot; formed from the anterior tibial artery |
