Do nothing from selfishness our empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves
...although I myself might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else had a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more:
But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted a loss for the sale of Christ
More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ
Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may last hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. •Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and teaching forward to what lies ahead
Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. • And the piece of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
