| sacred objects | objects used in rituals and acts of communication with God, such as holy books, lectionary and altar vessels. |
| religious laws | codes of behaviour. These help you avoid damaging your relationship with God. |
| 1st Great Commandment | the Lord our God is the one, only Lord, andyou must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and strength. |
