What does Newton's first law state? An object at rest will stay at rest, and an object moving at a constant velocity will keep moving at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an outside force.
What is inertia? The tendency of an object to resist any change in its motion.
What does Newton's second law state? Acceleration depends on the objects mass and the net force acting on the object
What is acceleration? Changing motion.
What is the equation for acceleration? Net force divided by mass.
What does Newton's third law state? If one object exerts a force on another object, then the second object exerts a force of equal strength in the opposite direction on the first object.
How can momentum be determined? By a moving object's mass multiplied by its velocity
