Fundamental IGCSE Equations for the exam!

v=d/t

Speed = Distance/Time

a=(v-u)/t

Acceleration = Change in Velocity/ Time

F=ma

Force = Mass x Acceleration

W=mg

Weight = Mass x Gravitational Field Strength

M=Fd

Moment = Force x Perpendicular distance from pivot

P=IV

Power = Current x Voltage

E=IVt

Energy transferred = Current x Voltage x Time

V=IR

Voltage = Current x Resistance

Q=It

Charge = Current x Time

Efficiency Equation

Efficiency = Useful Energy Output/Total Energy Output x 100

W=Fd

Work done = Force x Distance moved in the direction of the force

GPE=mgh

Gravitational Potential = Mass x Gravitational Field Strength x Height

KE=1/2mv2(squared)

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 x Mass x Speed squared

P=W/t

Power = Work done/Time

Vs/Vp=Ns/Np
