tests the troops to see if they will stay and fight, but Odysseus is the only one willing to fight, Odysseus convinces them to fight

challenges the Greeks to a one on one battle and Menelaus challenges him back (Paris backs away from this, but is later convinced by Hector to fight him)
goes to find Helen and finds Paris prettying himself for battle
tells Paris to get ready out on the battlefield because this whole ordeal is his fault
says good-bye to his wife (Andromache) and son. Andromache predicts he will die in battle
And Ajax battle. It ends with a truce because night was underway and they gave each other gifts and parted as friends
wanted to go home, but Diomedes makes him stay and finish what they started
predicts the Greeks will not win the war without Achilles, so Odysseus, Ajax, and Phoenix go to see Achilles and ask him to return to battle.

Diomedes and Odysseus
spot Dolon, confront him and make him give up battle secrets before they kill him
makes blood rain on the Greeks in retaliation for Odysseus and Diomedes for killing Trojan Spy and King Rhesus (in addition to stealing his horses)
tells Patroclus to wear Achilles armor and go to war as him to scare off the Trojans
breaks through the Greek gate with the help of Zeus
sees Greeks in trouble and helps them in the battle against the Trojans by fighting with them
gets injured by Ajax hurling a rock at him (Hector is throwing up black blood and is almost dead)
gets Apollo to breathe new life into Hector and gives him the power/strength of gods to fight
asks Achilles if he wear his armor and pretend to be him in battle (Achilles says yes, but return after getting the Trojans off the ships (DO NOT FIGHT))
reveals that Hector will die in the same spot at the hands of Achilles
charges into the Trojans (3 times) on the 4th time, Apollo knocks him to the ground, revealing who he is and Hector kills him.
is devastated and angry about Patroclus' death and wants to head out to battle immediately (His mother makes him wait one day for armor made by Hephaestus)
waits for Achilles at the Scaean Gate, where he is fearless until Achilles approach when he becomes scared and runs
and Achilles battle, and he dies. He predicts that Achilles will die at the same place at the hands of Paris.
dishonors Hector's body by tying it to the back of his chariot and dragging him around Troy and then around Patroclus' burial spot for 12 days and 12 nights
Before he heads to war, he must make peace with Agamemnon. He accepts the gifts of slaves, horses, gold and Briseis (but doesn't want them) just to head to war

convinces Achilles to return Hectors body
is protected while delivering Hector's ransom (gold, robes. Etc.) by Hermes
dresses like a beggar and pretends to his own people that he has traveled to another island so they will exile him to Troy after causing trouble at the Greek camp. The Greeks bring him to the city of Troy, Helen sees the men beating him, feels bad and takes him into the palace and bathes and fixes him. She realizes who he is, and she tells him the Amazon women are coming to help the Trojans, and realizes her mistake. He promises her safety when the Greeks take Troy in. return for her not turning him in.
goes to the Athena temple, sleeps with the people who pray through their dreams and tricks the guard into drinking the potion and then steals the luck of Troy
father is the god of war Ares (and they are as strong as some men)
offers Achilles' armor to the bravest warrior who saved her son's body from disgrace
wins the armor because Dionysus (a god) puts a drunken spell on Ajax and he doesn't speak well
was distraught about losing, and went to kill Odysseus in the middle of the night, but instead killed a flock of sheep. When he awoke in the morning, embarrassed for what he had done, he killed himself.
Paris shoots an arrow and with Apollo's guidance, it kills Achilles by hitting him in the heel
comes to fight with the Greeks with his poison arrows and shoots Paris
refuses to help Paris because he left her, so he leaves her cave and dies. When he dies, she kills herself by throwing herself on his funeral pyre.
