To Kill a Mockingbird is a novel about Atticus Finch a successful lawyer who lives in Maycomb, Alabama. in this novel Atticus chooses to defend a black man named Tom Robinson who is falsely accused of rape. Due to the Fact that Maycomb is a predominately white racist town Atticus is scrutinized for this decision. Atticus has two young children Jem and Scout. Jem and Scout and their friend Dill become fascinated with a man named Boo Radley. They have never met Boo all they know about him is the stories that they have heard. Ultimately Boo saves Jem and Scout from being harmed by Bob Ewell.(Because Atticus proved Tom's innocence)
