| Mentor | Adviser to Tekemakhos and Odysseus. Athena takes his shape to help Telemakhos. |
| Nestor | King of Pylos. Wise, tells Telemakhos to go to see Menelaos. "Master Charioteer". |
| Noemon | Suitor who willingly let Telemakhos (through Athena/Mentor) a ship. Is the one who tells Antinoos that Telemakhos is gone. |
| Odysseus | Tekemakhos's father. The main character in the Odyssey. King of Ithaka. Foil to Agamemnon. "Polytropos" |
| Orestes | Agamemnon's son. Avenges his death by killing Clytemnestra and her lover. Foil to Telemakhos. |
