Frame of reference | A way to relate the motion of an object, or objects, in relation to a fixed point. |
Displacement | The movement of an object from one place to another. In physics, it refers to the distance between an object's starting location, and its final, or end location. |
Speed | The rate at which an object changes position |
Average speed | The total distance travelled divided by the total time spent travelling. |
Velocity | The rate at which an object changes position, and the direction that it moves. |
Magnitude | The size of a quantity, how big it is. |
Vector | Expresses quantity, and direction. |
