Surrealists returned to painting more traditionally but still painted subject matter which hadnt been seen before (fantasy lanscapes)

Firing Clay means turning clay from soft malleable material to hard stone
Clay process-1 make object
Leather Hard clay is for elabourate shapes
Soft Clay is for basic shapes
To attach caly use slip
slip is liquid clay for getting rid of air pockets in clay.
Clay Process-2 Dry out thoroughly
Clay will break in kiln if it is even slightly damp.
Make sure that there are no air pockets in clay as in the kiln it will expand and explode if there is.
