Biome A biome is a large area in which we find the same types of living organisms: animals, plants and microorganisms.
Ecosystem An ecosystem is smaller than a biome. Within an ecosystem, we find different habitats.
Habitat A habitat is the place where an organism finds the food, water and shelter it needs to survive.
