Phobia: Irrational fear of an object or situation
Graduated Exposure: Treatment using gradual increases of fear causing stimuli in association with relaxation techniques
Systematic Desensitisation: Treating phobia through introduction of more & more provoking stimuli while invoking relaxation techniques simultaneously
Flooding: Treating phobia where patient exposed to extreme levels of fearful stimulus & is guided through relaxation techniques
Aversion Therapy: Treatment using classical conditioning causing undesired behaviour to create an undesired response. (Reduces incidence of the behaviour)
