Coriolis effect the curving of the path of a moving object (water and wind) from an otherwise straight path due to the rotation of the Earth.
jet streams a narrow band of strong winds that blow in the upper troposphere
land breeze breeze flows from the land to the sea - at night, the land cools more rapidly than the water does.
sea breeze cool wind blowing from water to land - during the day, the land warms more quickly creating an area of low pressure. This causes the cooler air from the sea to move towards land and replace the warm air.
