letters used before the PIEMS course number to indicate "modified" section of coursework for students in special education. Orignally terms as SP for Special Ed and G meaning general education classroom setting.

Required yearly committee meeting to develop or review the student's individual educational plan (IEP)
Committee meeting to make changes to the annual ARD
Additions to the annual ARD that can be made with or without a committee meeting
Required as part of the student's individual educational plan beginning at age 14 showing a cooridinated set of activities designed to help the student move from school to post-school activities.
Indicates WHAT is being taught (TEKS); modified by either a change in what the student is expected to learn or reducing the concepts to be learned.
Provides "equal access" and indicates HOW the TEKS will be taught, made accessible or assessed.
