Glacier	large, thick body of slowly moving ice

Valley Glacier	a long, narrow glacier that forms when snow and ice build up high in a mountain

Deflation	(geology) the erosion of soil as a consequence of sand and dust and loose rocks being removed by the wind
desert pavement	hard rocky surface consisting of pebbles&small broken rocks
loess	a fine-grained unstratified accumulation of clay and silt deposited by the wind
dune	a ridge of sand created by the wind
