| Lumbridge | The home starting place of players after Tutorial Island. |
| Tutorial Island | The starting place of new Runescape players. |
| Runes | The things used to do magic in Runescape. |
| Staffs | They can be used to replace runes if you don't have any. |
| Weapons | Things used to kill other people and things in Runescape. |
| Quests | Journeys that people do to either get money, levels up or many different things. |
| Noob | A new person who is a low level. |
| Pick Axe | A tool used to mine ores in Runescape. |
| Axe | A regular axe is used to cut down trees. |
| Ores | Ores are what you get when you mine from rocks. |
| Bars | When you smelt different ores together, you get bars. |
| Armor | What you use to protect you when you fight. |
| Shield | Protection also used when you have armor. |
| The Grand Exchange | Players can use the Grand Exchange to buy or sell items while working on other activities in game. |
| Pure | A person who specializes in one thing. |
| Mage | A person who does magic in Runescape. |
| General Store | The place in Runescape where you can buy and sell things and get coins. |
| Clan | A group of people that are together that do things with each other (etc. pking, maging, hunting). |
