Nouns A person, place, thing or an idea
Common Noun It's a common name, like a desk and is not capitalized
Proper Noun A specific name like Brittany and is capitalized
Noun of Direct Address Directly addressing you.

Collective or Group Noun A whole group of things together being talked about as one thing
Singular Noun Refers to one noun
Plural Nouns Referring to more than one
Regular Nouns If it ends in a consonant add 's' (exception: x, s, sh, or ch (for these add 'es'))
Compound Noun A noun that is obe thing but it made up of two or more words
Concrete Noun Is anything that can touch you or you can touch it
Abstract Noun An idea
