theangler : I've "fixed" up some of the spelling in Rev. Daigle's book. I probably do so at my peril, but when "a" is used as a preposition I just have to put an accent grave over it: à. Also, aprés is changed to après here because it really is an accent grave.

On a été la. We went there.
Ça sera facile. (s'ra) It will be easy.
Il est après écrire. He is writing.
Il reste à Baton Rouge. He lives in Baton Rouge.
J'ai pu d'argent. I have no more money.
C'est probable. It is probable.
C'est drôle. It is strange.
Ça suffit. (suffi) It suffices. (That's plenty.)
Ça se peut. (s'peut) It could be.
C'est possible. It is possible.
J'ai un bon job. I have a good job.
J'ai trop d'ouvrage. I have too much work.
Il a ramené mon livre. (ram'né) He returned my book.

La maison a cinq chambres. The house has five rooms.
J'ai une grande chambre à coucher. I have a large bedroom.
