Halloween is celebrated on October 31st in the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. On this day people get dressed up as witches, vampires, skeletons and other scary creatures and have a party. Traditional party decorations are pumpkin lanterns, bats, spiders, and black cats. Some traditional games are: apple bobbing and apples on strings. On Halloween night children go to people's houses and ask 'Trick or Treat'. If the person who opens the door says, Treat', they must offer a sweet or chocolate. If they say "Trick" the people in costumes will play a trick. (see more)
