btaller8 : Changed prepared → parée to prepared → paré (e, s)
WillMullaney : Changed une rapporteuse → a tattletale to une rapporteuse → a female tattletale
LaFontaine : Hey, gésir means "to lie" in the sense of to lie down not in the sense of to make a false statement. Thus, the past tense is lay not lied. It should not, however, be mistaken for to lay which is a transitive verb that translates to mettre in most cases or pondre when referring to an egg.
btaller8 : k, thanks
btaller8 : changed mordore, tamise, and en volutes
jalenack : hehe rapporteuse
jalenack : Changed to climb mountain, stairs, to mount → gravir to to climb (mountain, stairs), to mount → gravir
LaFontaine : un loup en satin is a satin mask. In the book he says un loup en satin noir which is a mask made of black satin.
btaller8 : when you know something is wrong, feel very free to change it (with a comment, so we all know). thats the fundamental concept that makes quizlet/wikipedia work. otherwise, people study wrong things. *ahem* gregory, i'm changing "un loup en satin noir" now. but good eye for catching it. : )
btaller8 : unless, of course, mrs. selvin put "black satin"
btaller8 : in her packet
btaller8 : in which case, "un loup en satin" DOES mean "a black satin mask"
btaller8 : hahaha
kingzeen : ahahahahahah me voilà!!!
LaFontaine : Kingzeen? Qui est-ce?
LaFontaine : Mon dieu! Kingzeen=Barzine peut-être.
btaller8 : haha. its barzin!!
btaller8 : yay
btaller8 : bonjour
LaFontaine : Excuse-moi, Brian! J;aurais changé "a black satin mask" mais j'ai pensé qu'il faut qu'il y ait a very good reason for such a blatantly obvious mistake.
LaFontaine : If timbre means timbre or tone quality based on the proportions of the amplitudes of the fundamental and the harmonics, as well as, a bell, and a stamp. Then it would not be obsurd to refer to le timbre d'un timbre.
schaeffer-ashlynn-24 : anyone here?
duckalicous57 : hello
