Systematic Observations Research method: researcher is inconpicuous as possible, two types
Naturalistic Observation Type of Systematic Observation: observe in natural setting, no modification
Structured Observation Type of Systematic Observation: reserachers provide setting (lab etc)
Self-Reports Research method: participants provide information about themselves, repeated
Clinical Interview Type of Self-Report: general framework of questions etc, but able to adapt to follow-up questions, conversational style
Structural Interview Type of Self-Report: All fixed questions with no deviation
