asymptomatic | showing no signs that you are sick or have a disease |
gonorrhea | a sexually transmitted disease that is caused by bacteria that infect mucus membranes, including genital mucus membranes. |
mucus | a thick, slippery substance produced by the body, such as "snot" |
HPV | human papiloma virus - a virus that causes genital warts and can cause cerivcal cancer |
abstinence | the ability to choose to not have sex |
chlamydia | a bacterial sexually trasnsmitted disease that inflects the reproductive organs (penis, vagina) and that causes mucus discharge |
discharge | a greenish-white fluid that comes out of the penis, vagina, or anus of a person infected with chlamydia |
syphilis | a bacterial sexually transmitted disease that causes ulcers or chancres. If it is untreated, it can cause physical disabilities, blindness, or death |
chancre | a sore at the location where a disease has entered the body |
HIV | Human Immunodefiency virus. a virus that infects cells of the immune system and that later causes AIDS |
