Anatomic position

palms facing forward,heels touching with feet spread apart

Coronal plane/ frontal plane

cuts down through the body through the skill. results in anterior and posterior portions

transverse plane/ cross-sectional plane

cuts across the body through the center and results in unequal superior and inferior portions

midsagittal plane/ median plane

cuts down though the body to result in left and right halves
