Fossil fuels

They come from the remains of long-ago plants and animals and cannot be replaced.

Resources that are unable to be replaced.

Resources that can be replaced.

The type of energy people need to see things. It comes from the sun.

A resource that is constantly being renewed.

The energy we need to grow comes from this.

An instrument that is used to measure wind speed.

Most of the energy on Earth comes from this source.

Battery

This object has potential energy until it is being used. When it is being used, it releases kinetic energy.

Gasoline

It gives off energy to make a car move.

Thermometer

A tool used to measure temperature.

The temperature at which water boils.

The temperature at which water freezes.
