MessiahMessiah means the same as Christ. That is, the one whom God chose as Israel's special king.
SamaritansPeople who lived in the area of israel called Samaria. The Samaritans came from Jews who married non-Jews.
JewA person who is from the family of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
IdolAnything people worship instead of God. They could be any object or statue made of wood, stone or metal that people worshiped.
WorshipShowing honor, love and praise. People are meant to do this for God. It is wrong to this for anyone or anything other than God.
