### parallelogram

a quadrilateral with 2 pairs of parallel sides.

### rhombus

### trapezoid

a quadrilateral with 4 sides and only 1 pair of parallel sides.

### edge

the line segment where two faces of a solid figure meet.

### circumference

the length or distance around a circle.

### diameter

a line segment that passes through the center of a circle and has its endpoints on the circle.

a line segment with one endpoint at the center of the circle and the other endpoint on the circle.

### line symmetry

the property of a figure that can be separated by a line into two congruent parts.

### face

a flat surface of a geometric solid.

### prism

a figure can be rotated or turned less than 360 degrees about its center point so that the figure looks exactly like it did before the turn.

### tessellation

a pattern made using any number of repeated shape(s) fitted together to cover a surface without any gap or overlap.
