• 1 Tbs = 15 mL
• 1 Tbs = 3 tsp
• 1 gr = 60 mg

IM injections

• Used for irritating solutions, solutions in oils, and aqueous suspensions
• Use 18-27 ga needle (usual = 22-25 ga), 1-1.5" long @ 90º
• Volume = 1-3 mL

• WNL = 135-145 mEq/L
