Ankle Sprain

Stretching or tearing of ligaments surrounding the ankle

Arch Sprain

Overstretching or tearing of the supportive ligaments of the transverse, medial longitudinal, or lateral longitudinal arch

Blister

Separation of two layers of skin in which fluid forms inside and puts pressure on the nerves causing pain

Great Toe Sprain (Turf Toe)

Hyperextension of the big toe causing ligaments to be overstretched or torn

Plantar Fasciitis

Inflammation of the wide, nonelastic ligamentous tissue that extends from the anterior portion of the calcaneus to the heads of the metatarsals

Heel Bruise

Contusion to the ligaments, tendons, and fat pad near the calcaneus

Heel Spur

Bony growth on the calcaneus that causes painful inflammation of the accompanying soft tissue

Foot Fracture

When any of the tarsals, metatarsals, or phalanges (toes) is broken

Achilles Tendonitis

Inflammation of the tendon that attaches the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles to the calcaneus

Complete tear of the tendon that attaches the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles to the calcaneus

Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (Shin Splints)

Pain that occurs below the knee either on the front outside portion of the leg or on the inside of the leg

Stress Fracture

An incomplete crack in the bone

Compartment Syndrome

A serious condition that may develop when swelling exists in one or more of the four compartments of the leg or arm

Lower Leg Fracture

When the tibia and or fibula are broken
