Hiroshima
City in Japan that the United States dropped an atomic bomb on during WWII
Nagasaki

A Major Battle in the Pacific Ocean between Japan and the United States during WWII in which turned the tides and enabled the US to protect its home soil.
Kamikaze
Japanese fighter pilots that attacked Pearl Harbor and and after utilizing their guns/weapons, used their planes as a weapon and killed themselves for their country.
Pearl Harbor
United States Naval Base that was attacked by Japan and initiated war with Japan. This base is on the island of Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean. This brought the United States to war with Japan during WWII
Internment Camps
Japanese Americans were brought into "camps" that "protected" them from any possible threats in the United States and contained them in case they were involved with working with their native country of Japan in conspiracy against the United States. These camps were located in the Western portion of the U.S.
V-J Day
The day in which the United States gained Victory Over Japan during WWII.
