riccicl : According to most references, including Mosby's, and in common practice for many years.... the proper abbreviation for congestive heart failure is not CNF. It is CHF. You should probably make that correction here as it is misleading to those who are using this as a learning tool. ---signed, a med. transcriptionist for the past 8 years.
mwashabaugh : My books also say CHF for congestive heart failure, and CVA is a cerebrovascular accident (stroke) not a cardiovascular accident (MI).
