| Authoritative | In this prayer we pray as a warrior for God who is fighting to carry out God's will and His purpose |
| Suffering | This prayer asks God to forgive people that wrong us |
| Healing | In this prayer we ask God to make us whole and well |
| Radical | This prayer prays for transformation and change of people, societies and institutions |
| Contemplative | This prayer is free of words and we listen to the voice or silence of God |
| Unceasing | this is like flash prayers, it is a prayer like breathing...you don't say amen...you just hang out with God and talk with him all day long |
| Formation | This prayer asks God to mold us and change us--- to make us more like Christ |
| Heart/Abba | this is an intimate prayer where we ask God to hold us close... this is like coming over to your dad sitting in his arm chair and plopping in his lap... very safe and warm |

| Rest | this is a prayer of relaxation and relief. We ask God to give us peace and rest |
| Relinquishment | this prayer is modeled after Christ's prayer in Gesthsemane,"Thy will be done." It is where we give all our fears and desires to God |

| Sacramental | These prayers are taken from scriptures and prayed as if they were our own words |
| Examination | In this prayer we ask God to look carefully at our hearts and cleanse all of the filth away |
