occupation the type of job in which a person is employed
orientation a time period of becoming familiar with a new job... it is required by most companies
work productivity resulting in something useful
diversity the positive result of people of different racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds working together.
workplace diversity is when a company has a wide vaiety of workers with different backgrounds

Aptitude ability to perform a certain activity well
The natural ability or potential for learning new skills is an aptitude.
personality the combination of all the interests, values, behaviors & characteristics that make a person unique.

evaluate means to look at a career closely and judge or weigh it as a possible option
volunteer job is one performed without pay
temporary job would be, say, working at the mall for only the holiday season
part-time job is where one works only a portion of a full work week, but does it regularly (like 3 days a week)

crime scene investigator should focus on sciences such as biology & chemistry
a person who likes working around a lot of people might enjoy working as a teacher

elective is a course that is chosen by a student according to his or her own interests.
credits are the units of measurement that high schools us to determine whether or not students are progressing toward graduation
tuition the fee that colleges charge for students to take their classes
