Magnetic Force A force produced when magnetic poles intereact
Magnetic field lines Invisible lines that map out the magnetic field around a magnet
Magnetic Field The reigon around a magnet where the magnetic force is exerted
Magnetic Domain A reigon in which the magnetic fields of all atoms are lined up in the same direction
Magnetic Declination The angle between geographic north and the north to which a compas needle points
Magnetosphere The reigon of Earth's magnetic field shaped by the solar wind
Proton A particle that carries a positive charge
Electron A particle that carries a negative charge

Ferromagnetic A material that shows strong magnetic properties
Temporary Magnet A magnet made from a material that easiliy loses its magnetism
Permanent Magnet A magnet made from a material that keeps is magnetism for a long time
Solar Wind A stream of electrically charged particles flowing at high speeds from the sun
Aurora A glowing region in the atmosphere caused by charged particles from the sun
