a concept related to Mexican American. Characterized by many traditional expectionas of the male gender role such as being unemotional, strong, authoritariive, aggresive, and masculine

sex

The biological and physiological differences between men and women

sex roles

behaviors and patterns of activities men and women engage in that are directly related to their biological differences

sexual identity

the degree of awarness and recogniztion by an individual of his or her sex and sex roles
