Wave The Movement of energy through a body of water.
Wave length The Horizontal distance from the Crest of one Wave to the crest of another.
Trough Lowest point of a wave.

Longshore Drift the movement of water and sediment along a beach caused by waves coming into shore at an angle

Tsunami A giant wave caused by an earthquake on the ocean floor.
Neap Tide The tide with the least difference between consecutive low and high tides.
Spring Tide The tide with the greatest difference between consecutive low and high tides.
