Biome a group of ecosystems with similar organisms and climates
Tundra The coldest biome, covered in permafrost, and mosses and shrubs. Less than 25 cm precipitation each year
Taiga The second coldest biome, covered in coniferous trees. 30-80 cm precipitation each year
Temperate The biome in Eastern USA, deciduous trees, lots of animals. 75-150 cm (Less than 200) of precipitation each year
Tropical Rainforest A biome near the equator with more organisms and plant life than any other biome. Hot and humid all year round, and 200-900 cm of precipitation annually.
Savanna A grassland with scattered or isolated trees, a hot dry season, and a wet season. 50-130 cm of precipitation every year.
Desert A dry biome with extreme temperatures, cactus' hot dry air, and less than 25 cm of precipitation yearly.
