hypothesis an educated guess
data information obtained from an experiment (charts, tables, graphs)
constants anything that does NOT change in an experiment
experimental group the group in which the independent variable is changed
independent variable factor that you change in an experiment
dependent variable the effect of the experiment (the result of the independent variable)
control group the group that remains the same and is used as a comparison in an experiment
