Opiod analgesic, receptor agonist. Bids with both mu and kappa receptor sites to produce analgesia. Symptomatic relief of acute and chronic pain, preanesthetic medication, to relieve shortness of breath assoc with heart failure and pulmonary edema, ascute chest pain with MI.

Naloxone (Narcan) Opiod receptor antagonist, Agent for treatment of acute opiod overdose and misuse. Blocking Mu and Kappa receptors. Immediatelt cause opiod withdrawl symptoms.
Aspirin (Acetylsalicylic Acid, ASA) NSAID, COX inhibitor, Salicylate. Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and produces mild to moderate relief of fever. Anticoagulant. Causes vasodilation and sweating.
Sumatriptan (Imitrex) Antimigraine agent, Serotonin receptor agent, vasoconstrictor oh intracranial arteries.
