GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

refers to the graphical interface of a computer that allows users to click and drag objects with a mouse instead of entering text at a command line

when you minimize a wondow, you hide it from view. This is commonly done to unclutter the display or to view other open windows without closing the current window.

MAXIMIZE

when you maximize a window on your computer screen, it becomes larger.

RESTORE

to reduce the window to the size it was before it was maximized.
