Pointillism | Colored spots next to gray ones. Causes retinal fatigue. This causes you to see a double image. Your brain then fills in with the complementary colors. |
Hue | Hue is the name of the colors. An example would be cadmium red, or candy apple red. These are colors within the red "family" or two different hues of color in this instance. |
Primary Color | Primary colors are never mixed. These are the three basic colors. They can be used directly; red, blue and yellow. |
Woodcut | a print made from a piece of wood; relief print taken from a carved piece of wood. |
